512 torches and chickens

Random screenshots from my current Skyrim 2025 playthrough, part one! Decided to make a page for this after I started so the screenshots start a good while after I started. I also resized the images here via Ifranview by A LOT - I rather have this page load faster than show off my ~super special Skyrim graphix~ or whatever. I had to regardless because the screenshots ranged in size from 4MB to 7MB! So I'm sorry for the odd cropping on ~~some~~ most of these. I wanted to make the subtitles visible yet keep the width and height 1000px or under. Sorry about the subtitles being so tiny!

The ENBs used in the majority of the shots on this page are either PI-CHO ENB - KONAN EDITION (for any screenshots that are bright and vibrant) or Ebony ENB (for any screenshots that are dark and have a filter on them). (Later pages will have Cabbage ENB then Dawnfire ENB replace both because I changed weather mods.) As for any other mods shown... uh, if I listed every single noticeable mod in every screenshot below this page would never get done. If you want to know a name of a mod that appears leave me a comment in my Neocities activity feed and I'll reply ASAP!

I'm sick of messing with the layout of this page so you'll have to click on the image for a full sized view. Perhaps I'll get the hang of lightboxes sometime soon but for now, yeah, sorry for the inconvenience. The font used on this page is Sovngarde and can be used in your Skyrim game!

Some of these images are NSFW as I have nude female and male bodies mods installed. ... actually it's only male nudity for now. Hahaha.

I love how the first scene in Jorrvaskr is two warriors having a brawl because they just don't like each other. Well, to be far, no one like Njada. Isn't it canon that she started this fight because she was drunk and hates Athis' guts?

Me, at 11PM, slamming my fist into my desk and nearly knocking over my cup of cranberry juice: "WHA-- WHY CAN I SEE HIM?!"

PROTEUS is a mod that makes it possible to import other characters into your game via RaceMenu. After about ten hours of playing I headed to Silverpeak Lodge to make that house my follower base and created my other characters. It was a bit challenging at first but I imported almost all of them!

It's not perfect and I'm sure I'm messing something up because my characters always spawn with the wrong hair color and/or skin tones. oh and here's the amriel lmao, I mentioned this on my About page but the fact that her name is a single letter off of the name the world that the series takes place in was a COMPLETE mistake on my part.

If the above happens to you try reloading the preset via the PROTEUS wheel menu. I just need to type in the character's name but if you have a certain RaceMenu preset you want to use you might have to type in that full file name instead? I dunno, I'm not the person to ask.

ah yes, the immersion - I sadly made Ashatia forget the spell because that would be the only spell she would use.

Speaking of Ash, here's how you can mess up importing your character preset! Yuck! But I think the correct version looks pretty good.

That fucking table!! It's the cause of so much chaos in Jorrvaskr. Yes, I tried disabling it. It's a conflict between Cheesemod and HS Whiterun - Jorrvaskr and/or the various Whiterun mods I have installed but this patch doesn't fix it for me.

Good ol' Legacy of the Dragonborn, which I also wrote a review about, recieved a big update since I've last played and it seems a lot more stable. The biggest change was the option to skip Arvam's quests, thank you devs!!! I'll have to update my review.

I just hate how Solitude ALWAYS ends up being the city that spawns the most dragon encounters because it's really a cramped city layout wise which is made worse by the amount of mods I have changing the interior of the city. Luckily no important NPCs have died (yet).

... awkwardness aside I think there two make a cute couple. In my headcanon (or Dovahkiin's story?) he gets together with Ashatia and his brother marries Diadora eventually.

I love how says this right after, you know, turning into a werewolf and slaughtering a few Silver Hand members. Uh, and the chickens? Um, she wanted to help out and that was the only spell Dia knows... yeah, that's it. (I actually wanted to summon them so that I could get some shots of them in the fight scene but I fucked it up.)

Oh god, this fucking mess of a scene. First off, more chickens. But while Farkas is saying ~~such amazingly romantic lines~~ whatever he says Kodlak is stuck at the fucking Skyforge because of that damn table!! But Kodlak isn't even supposed to be anywhere near where he is, he's supposed to be in front of Dia. So it's not the chicken's fault. Oh and Vilkas was stuck too, wonderful.

So I had to look up the character's REFIDs online and place them at Diadora so that they would teleport over and actually stand in the fucking half-circle.

Took some great pigeon shots while I figuring out what to do though! "Pigeon" is a word that I always misspell, I always add a "d" before "g".

I'VE NEVER HEARD THIS CONVERSATION BECAUSE KODLAK NEVER LEAVES HIS ROOM AND I'M SO MAD I DIDN'T GET FARKAS' LINE! He says something cute like, "What kind of weapons do you like, Harbinger?"

I started using EasyNPC and it's a great tool but for some reason my first attempt ended up giving Lydia a beard! Honestly she's kinda serving it but I had to change it because I enjoy her Thorned Women look much more.

No, I did not summon Ria here or have her as a follower. She literally just spawned out of nowhere just to say that line.

hehehehe hohohoho *doot* I don't know which magic mod this comes from sadly because I'm using about ten of them at once.

I was so... overwhelmed by the appearance of the Khajiit cosplaying Mileena that I did not notice the Khajiit with the invisible face behind her until I edited these screenshots.

Yeeeah, if I woke up one day with a full beard I would be drinking at the tap too.

I kinda want to know what happened but then again leaving the event as a "Noodle Incident" is funny too.

I was gobsmacked when I first saw this moment years ago because I can't remember ever coming across a trope of a man confessing that he's not only scared of spiders but he's ashamed of his phobia as well. (He does refer to it as "my shame" when he's cured of his lycanthropy.) Can we have more of that in fiction? Anyway. I love him.

Reason number infinity why Farkas is my favorite character in the game. HOLY FUCKING OVERREACTION there Vilkas, at least Aela's cool about it.

I would also like to point out that Farkas is the only member of the Circle (besides Kodlak I guess) that never started shit with the Silver Hand besides defending himself and the player character in Dustman's Cairn. But even then he was more concerned about the draugr and making sure you're safe over dealing with the rest of the Silver Hand in the dungeon. It's funny that the character that gets accused of being not so smart seems to be one of the few members of the Companions that thinks things through before acting!!

Isolating this screenshot because it's one of my favorite video game lines everrrr~ I... actually don't know if he says a different line if you're playing as a male character or if the "woman" is replaced with "man"!

... yeah, he got stuck on a rock inside the mine leading to the dragon's location and I had to kill it on my own.

It would be in character for Diadora to believe her but I decided to go with the other option this time. I think she's the one lying but the game makes it impossible to know what side is telling the truth after all. anyway i just took this screenshot because of farkas obviously so whatever i don't really care about this quest

GOD DAMN IT I forgot that you have to wear that stupid ass outfit for the party so I had to put that on and add the dress back via PROTEUS. I'm pretty sure that this dress is from Apachii Divine Elegance which is one of my favorite mods EVER.

I also chegged up and forgot to get Ravencrone's favor before this quest and the only NPC that could make a distraction was Jarl Elisif. Oh, I guess I could've used that drunk guy but eh.

This scene, however, is the beginning to a Legacy of the Dragonborn quest... that activated in the middle of a Greybeards cutscene. Needless to say I didn't have to fight much since the monks froze the enemies and punched them to death.

Another lovely addition by Legacy of the Dragonborn. Honestly the NPCs are the worst thing about that mod besides Auyven.

I THINK this scene is caused by Immersive World Encounters? It happens every time you become Thane of a city. I added the screenshot of cheating the amount of unarmed damage I cause because brawls can glitch out... but I added too much because all three of them died. (lmao i punched farkas sorry) (also reasons number infinity why he's the best - he took out his sword instead of resorting to punching) Good. Into the fucking canal with all of them.

Look at how small Rosa is! I was baffled as to why she's so petite because Dia's a Nord and pretty tall... then I remembered that I made her a Breton instead of a Nord. They share the same mother so maybe I can make Rosa half Nord, half Breton?

Every. Fucking. Time. He says this line every fucking time we're in a draugr infested dungeon. Thankfully I could adjust the amount of idle talk via NFF.

oh hey i remembered to do this - dunno why I always forget it because it's one of the better Daedric quests.

... am I the only person that ships the Dragonborn / Farkas and doesn't like the werewolf angle? He seems so happy when he's cured plus I honestly just hate being a fucking werewolf. I NEVER use the power and it's literally forced on you if you want to proceed in the Companions quest. And if you can't proceed in the quest and become Harbinger you can't marry Farkas so that's not a option obviously!! NO I DON'T CARE IF HE'S ABOUT TO LIGHT HER HAIR ON FIRE IN THIS SCREENSHOT

I'm using the same voice that Njada has for Amriel and I gotta be honest it fits her REALLY well. yeah that's her tiny skeleton again

Dealing with these dopes again, this time they went into a fire. Yes, it's the same NPCs.

Okay here's the fucking 512 torches. I didn't just pick that number out of thin air! And I have no idea how or why this happened.

Alright, that's enough for part one. Part two will cover such things like a complete shitshow ending to the civil war quest and summoning Paathy to my wedding. Fun!
