Before You Continue!

To say that the Fear and Hunger series of games is "for mature audiences only" is putting it VERY LIGHTLY. If you are interested in this series, you should to be aware of the trigger warnings. From the Steam page of the second game: The game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore. Dismemberment is one of the core mechanics in the game. The game also includes the following: Use of alcohol and drugs, scenes of self-destructiveness from suicide to self-harm, nudity and sexual content. Themes of depression, mental health, sexual violence, child abuse, war and atrocities that come with it are represented in the game.

The first game has all of that and more but it's ramped up to 200%, especially when it comes to gore and sexual assault. Needless to say, please use caution if you want to delve deeper into the series. Since this is my first playthrough of the second game, please use discretion when viewing the images below. There are examples of nudity, blood and dismemberment in the screenshots. Click on the lovely image above to head back to the main page.

(Same as the previous page but I just wanted to give another heads up.)

LEAVING PREHEVIL

If for some reason you didn't read the first part, click here!

Dunno what the fuck this was for!!

TIME TO RELOAD!!!! I lost like a hour of progress here. Lovely.

The first screenshot: What ISN'T weird about this place?! And I just thought the second shot was funny.

Another reload. Fuck these enemies.

hey i ain't linking back to the homepage again

If you walk anywhere near O'saa when he's blocking your way he'll cast Hurting on you. Why am I mentioning this? Because I ran into his location ON ACCIDENT and lost one of my legs!! Another reload!!!!

no there isn't :)

COOL!!!!!!!!

shut up and give me those small idols bitch

For some odd reason Marcoh's bare fists can hit ghosts, hence the reason I'm guarding with the other characters.

I hate everything about this and I hate the fucking orphanage.

YEAH EAT LEAD YOU FUCKING SCUM SUCKING BITCH

Hey!! Thanks. :)

...... girl i am trying to kill a monster that might go after you smh

What a fucking stupid doppelgänger. All it had to do was sit down.

Not a hard fight. I hope the future updates for this game makes doppelgängers for every contestant, that would be kinda funny.

Frog! If you have 'Mastery over Vermin' you can talk to frogs... which I didn't know because I thought the skill could only let you talk to the Ratkin.

Soooo. By now I was really getting frustrated with the save system - I would go two hours without saving because I didn't want to progress the game too much and risk having my party members moonscorch. It was getting to the point that I didn't want to progress with the game anymore. Yeah. So I installed the Infinite Saves Mod and my playthrough was MUCH more fun to play. Honestly, I didn't rely on it too much because my playthrough was coming to the end but I don't regret installing it. Fuck being a 'purist', if a simple mod makes my experience with a single player video game more enjoyable to play then I'm using it.

I... uh...

I really hope that the updates to the game go into why Daan's wife and father-in-law were in Prehevil.

HEY MAKE SURE YOU ONLY HAVE THREE PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY IF YOU WANT TO RECRUIT O'SAA HERE!! BECAUSE I DIDN'T!!! But it was worth a reload to add him to my party.

lmao

I ended up with like five or six broomsticks by the end of the game.

Ohhh, so THIS is what those things are for! I thought you could just use them to delay the fight with the priest in the manor.

Hey, here's the real Moonless! Isn't she cute? (omg i'm so sorry for the glass in your eyes bb girl you kept on biting me tho) Love how her intro is kinda like the nameless beast that Nas'rah summons during his boss fight in the first game.

Out of the non-playable contestants I'm interested in learning more about August the most. Also, why was Moonless in Prehevil?

... okay, so it's not just Olivia's doppelgänger that's a fucking idiot.

Don't forget to have both Daan and Olivia in your party before you go to sleep on Day 2 Night if you don't want them to moonscorch. Because I didn't! I also learned that you should 'always sleep with a full party', which sounds weird out of context. Actually. It's weird in context too.

Fun fact: this is a horse!

well that sucks lol

YEAAHHH... just blast these fuckers before you get burnt. ... how is O'saa supposed to defeat the flamethrower troopers? He doesn't wield guns. Every time I tried to initiate a battle with them I would get fried. Maybe by using bear traps?

NOT NOW

Lost the coin toss here but thankfully I had the hardened heart equipped on Marcoh.

I really chegged things up here and forgot to take screenshots of the Kaiser and Logic fights. The boss battles in this game are really fun! Yes, everyone is on heroin. ... what? They'll be fine.

See? They're fine!

I'm really eager to see the characters' S endings if Miro is going to add them in. I honestly don't like any of the current endings because I love (almost) all the main characters of this game. I want (almost) all of them to survive and go to, I dunno, Denny's.

But, hey, some survived this run! I like how there's two straight lines of survivors, haha. MARINA WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU THIS ENTIRE GAME?? I know that sometimes she glitches out if you don't see her in the bookstore early on when you're playing some of the characters so that's probably why. And I honestly thought Pav's stupid ass was dead.

FIN (for now)

So there you go! Hope y'all enjoyed reading about my first playthrough of a very strange but fun game. I really do like this series and I'm very eager for future updates. My current playthrough is a 'kill everyone' run with sweet Olivia.

It's going swell!
